Power and control
A gas turbine is a high pressure, high temperature environment. It needs constant monitoring and management to operate at peak efficiency. This presents operators with a difficult problem – how to measure events deep in the heart of a gas turbine, monitoring turbine health and extending lifetime.
Oxsensis sensors offer gas turbine power generators a dramatic increase in the quality and quantity of the combustion data they extract, allowing them to continually optimise combustion to reduce fuel burn and NOx emissions.
Oxsensis is moving the limits of currently accepted sensor technology. The ultra-high temperature tolerance of Oxsensis Wave-Phire sensors gives you the ability to develop entirely new monitoring strategies during commissioning, maintenance and normal operation.
- Reduce MTBF
- Increase flexibility
- Enhanced diagnostics
- Condition monitoring
- Trend analysis
- Installation verification & certification
Our fibre optic sensors are EMI immune, and can go places where even the best electronic sensors will fail, giving you unprecedented levels of control in the harshest of conditions:
- Extreme temperatures of >1000C (1800F)
- Hostile / corrosive chemical environments
- High levels of electromagnetic interference
- Need for interrogation at a distance
- No electrical power available at the sensor head
Our sensors are ultra-rugged and reliable. They can gather data closer to combustion events than any other sensor.
