The temperature limitations of legacy electrical sensors leads to compromises in gas turbine installation, lifetime, and performance. Working with the world’s leading gas turbine OEMs, Oxsensis has pioneered high bandwidth optical sensors that simultaneously measure pressure and temperature at the combustor wall, offering new combustion event diagnostics and flexibility. 
 
 

Combustion dynamics sensors


Our 1800°F/1000°C wave-Phire™ pressure and temperature sensors have been used by all major gas turbine development teams. The unique high sensitivity multi-measurand pressure and temperature data is being used to characterise combustion processes in new ways, in ever hotter regions of the turbine. We have a range of sensors to suit all gas turbine engines and our interrogators are compatible with existing signal conditioning equipment.
